Mountain Biking Plains of Abraham on Mt. St. Helens

Today I had an amazing day biking around the west side of Mt. St. Helens with Eric Porter and Logan McConnell.  It was a long day of over 25 miles and 4,000 feet of elevation gain but the temperature was great and the trail was a lot of fun despite some thick ash challenging sections.  No flat tires, or hurt bodies despite a bunch of crashes on the way down into Smith Creek.  Read on.....

Trouble with Tribbles

Had a great afternoon today with Leo watching "Trouble with Tribbles" part of the Trek in the Park series of plays in Portland, with Eric, Tom and Andrea.  We also had a surprise appearance from Brian Kidd on his unicycle playing bagpipes with a star trek shirt on.  Read on....

Anna Li's Going Away Party

Had a great time tonight at Anna Li's going away party.  She's taking a leave of absence from work to go on a long journey to New Zealand and Indonesia.  We wish her the best and look forward to watching for her Facebook posts about her travels.

Siouxon Creek Attempt #2

Once again I had an interesting bike ride on Siouxon Creek, this time with emily and Leo.  Once again we didn't quite make it to the end and instead of a broken bike we ended up with a broken dog.  Read on...

Jenn & Jason's Wedding

This weekend was Jenn and Jason's wedding.  I was a groomsmen in theirs as he was a groomsmen in mine.  We are so stoked that the two of them tied the knot and can tell that they both couldn't be happier.  It was a beautiful ceremony with a "tree" theme throughout the night.  The weather held for their ceremony and only rained shortly during the reception when everyone was inside eating anyway.  Great friends, great music, great drinks.  A perfect weekend.   Click on the title or below to read more.
