Warren Miller Heli Ski trip to Alaska.... Maybe...

Chris and I went to the Warren Miller ski movie premiere tonight to get our usual free pass to Mt. Bachelor, Ski Magazine subscription and discount to Peak Sports.  In general I don't really like past Warren Miller films because they seemed to be hour long commercials for whichever company sponsored the film like Ford or Jeep or whatever.  Thankfully, this year they got rid of the commercialness of the film but still stuck with the same drab commentary by Johnny Mosely.  Perhaps next year the commentary will get better.  As usual, there was prizes given away and... surprise, surprise I won the grand prize of the night which was to be a finalist in the drawing for an 8 night, 7 day heli skiing trip to Alaska!  Right before the little kid reached in and pulled out my entry form I mentioned to Chris that I never win anything... go figure!  2nd place is the same trip basically but to the Chugach Range and 3rd place is a trip to Chili, all three include a guest as well.  So... I still have a small chance as there are many other ski movie premieres but at least I have a better chance of winning literally my dream vacation!
