After we got back on Saturday from surfing at the coast Emily and I headed out to the Finley Wildlife Preserve to take some photos of birds there with the longer lens that she had given me as a Christmas Present. Last time we did a bird photography trip in the area we had great luck at the Snag Boat Bend preserve near Halsey, OR but I think Emily wanted to go to Finley more so we did. We ended up seeing a bunch of Great Blue Herons, Canadian Geese, Buzzards, Ospreys, and even a juvenile Bald Eagle. All the birds were a bit too far away for spectacular action shots worth printing but I did at least get some good shots for my personal collection. This is a blog about our life. I use it as a journal of our life events so we can clearly remember everything later in life. I try to make it an interesting read for our family and friends as well. Please feel free to comment on anything and share any of the blog posts on social networks. Also, after the page has done loading click any of the photos in the post for a larger pop-up.
