The snotel data that I have is recorded from 10-1 of the previous fall through until 9-30 of the fall in which I want to analyze. I’d like to do some summaries of the temp, precip, and SWE data. I’ve gone through and found the peak PILL (SWE) of each year, but I’d also like an average temp. Should I avg the temps from 10-1 of the previous fall until the image date I’m using or take the total average for the whole time of 10-1 to 9-30? I’m thinking the later to keep things consistent.
